Coat Drive for Cedars Home for Children NSECU is partnering with other Lincoln area credit unions to collect donations of new or gently used coats, hats, scarves, mittens, and blankets for Cedars Home for Children. Sizes can range from infants to adults. Items will be collected at the the credit union office from January 15 through February 29. Cedars helps children who have been abused, neglected, and homeless achieve safety, security, and enduring family relationships. Year End Notice Your December 2011 statement will reflect your year-end total of interest earned, consumer and mortgage interest paid. Please save your statement for future reference when completing your tax return. You will not receive a seperate 1099 form. If applicable, you will receive a seperate 1098 form to show mortgage interest paid. Credit Union Annual Meeting Date Announced Mark your calendars for the 71st Annual Meeting of the Nebraska State Employees Credit Union. This year's meeting will be held at the State Office Building on Thursday, April 26, 2012. Join us for the business meeting at 6:30 p.m. followed by refreshments and door prizes. ATTENTION Fremont Branch Office Members The Fremont Branch office has closed on December 31, 2011. The credit union will continue its arrangement with Fremont First Central Federal Credit Union. NSECU members will be able to continue to do transactions the the 1715 N. Bell Street location at the teller line or at the drive-up. To do a transaction at Fremont First Central FCU, just let them know you're from NSECU, give them your account number, and produce a photo ID. Volunteers Wanted The credit union is currently seeking volunteers who are interested in serving on the Supervisory Committee. If you are interested in becoming a volunteer, please contact the credit union at 402-471-2561.
